ABOUT ME
DYMPNA CASEY
CREATIVE MARKETING
with a BRANDING & DESIGN EDGE.
BASED IN MUNSTER, IRELAND
Hi, I'm Dympna Casey -- a multi-disciplinary creative and marketing professional based in Ireland. I help businesses stand out through visual storytelling, clever branding, and thoughtful strategy.

With a background that spans fine art, interior design, photography, and graphic design, I've always been drawn to creativity that connects.
I've worked both in-house and freelance, supporting Irish brands, retailers, media, and hospitality businesses - and now, I specialise in helping brands bring their story to life through marketing, content creation, and brand development.

My Journey So Far
My creative journey has been anything but linear, starting back in 2003 in graphic design where I spent a year developing my eye for design and learning the fundamentals of layout and typography. From there, I went on to study interior design for three years, which deepened my understanding of spatial awareness, colour theory, and the importance of creating environments that tell a story.
After interior design, I shifted focus and spent four years earning an honours degree in Fine Art, specialising in sculpture and combined media. This period taught me the value of original ideas, research, and the art of visual communication. I also learned how to tell stories through various media, understanding that visuals are a language that can be universally understood, whether through photography, sculpture, or video.
After completing my degree, I went back to college to study advanced photography for two years. This is where I really honed my skills in capturing visual stories, working with light, composition, and the technical aspects of photography. From there, I began my career as a photographer, specialising in interiors and lifestyle brands, capturing the essence of businesses through compelling visuals.
Along the way, I also worked in the art department for TV and film with RTÉ and Element Pictures, which expanded my creative toolkit and gave me a behind-the-scenes look at the visual storytelling process in the entertainment industry.
Today, I’m diving into the world of marketing and social media content creation. I’ve started working part-time as a Sales & Marketing Executive at a boutique hotel, where I get to use everything I’ve learned to help shape the brand’s online presence, create content, and engage with its audience. I’m also learning more about digital marketing, SEO, and brand strategy, expanding my skills further.
This journey isn’t a complete departure from my creative roots, it’s an evolution. My background in graphic design, interior design, fine art, photography, and my experience working in TV and film has set me up for this exciting new chapter. I’m blending creative strategy, visual storytelling, and brand development in a way that feels like a natural progression of everything I’ve done before.

What I Do Now
I now work at the intersection of creative design and marketing strategy, helping businesses:
-
Define and refine their brand identity
-
Create visual content that tells their story
-
Develop clever marketing campaigns & sales ideas
-
Design websites, design packaging, and improve customer experience
-
Bring fresh energy and ideas into existing brands

Whether its elevating a brand's social media, designing branded experiences like packages or pop up shops, or refreshing a tired website -- I love helping businesses feel proud of how they show up.
