ABOUT ME
DYMPNA CASEY
Multidisciplinary Artist & Visual Storyteller
Based in Munster, Ireland
Welcome to my new site, and my new chapter.
By day, I work in marketing, helping brands tell their stories with creativity and strategy. But outside of that, I return to where it all began for me: art.
I’m Dympna Casey, a multidisciplinary artist and studio photographer based in Ireland. My background in Fine Art, Interior Design, and Photography has shaped how I see the world through light, symbolism, and emotion. My work often draws on memory, storytelling, and the quiet magic found in everyday moments.
In my last chapter, I worked as a commercial photographer, shooting for some of Ireland’s top brands, creating imagery to fit brand guidelines, and seeing my work published in magazines, on billboards, and even food packaging. I loved the craft of studio photography, controlling the light, the styling, the atmosphere, but over time, I began to miss the freedom of creating just for the sake of expression.
Now, I’m excited to explore my fine art side again. At the moment, this site showcases work from my Fine Art college days, a glimpse into where it all started. My goal is to combine my past with my present and see what that looks like in this new chapter of my creative journey.
Prints of my earlier work will be available soon, but more than anything, I’m excited to see what I’ll create thirteen years after graduating with my Honours BFA.
This space marks a return to art for art’s sake , a place for fine art, collaboration, and creative exploration.
If my work resonates with you, or if you’d like to collaborate, I’d love to hear from you.
